On Lassen Peak, 7.15.18

As a child, I spent most of my time in the pages of books, and too many of my nights, which is why I didn’t grow any taller according to my mom (never mind genetics).

In the years since, I’ve found there are other things than books worth staying up for, such as:

conversations about books, or life;

outdoor adventures veering on type 2 fun;

funny cat videos, of my own and others’;

and most presently, a master’s program in advertising strategy that demands mental fortitude, emotional resilience, and possibly a tiny piece of your soul.

Looking towards the future, I’m excited to graduate in May and am mostly eager to continue aging (the only part I’m not so stoked about is shrinking).
